Eight-sided attack to deal with frozen shoulder

Frozen shoulder is periarthritis of the shoulder joint. It is a widespread aseptic inflammation caused by damage to the soft tissues surrounding the shoulder joint. It is characterized by shoulder pain, pressure pain, limitation of shoulder joint movement, and even muscle atrophy and spasm. For the treatment of frozen shoulder, clinically we generally use the integrated approach of Chinese medicine: 1, Chinese herbal medicine can be used to activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and relax tendons and channels. 2.Cupping therapy: commonly used acupuncture points are around shoulder joints such as shoulder. 3.Scraping: choose the lung meridian, large intestine meridian, etc. on the outside of the arm. 4.Acupuncture therapy: Different acupoints can be selected for treatment according to different parts. If the pain is in front of the shoulder, the foot three li can be preferred, so that the needle sensation reaches the foot, and then the patient can raise the arm, and the pain can be relieved immediately. If the pain area is on the posterior side, Yanglingquan and Feiyang points are preferred, which can also achieve pain relief very quickly. According to the area where the pain is located, acupoints such as Shoulder Corner, Shoulder Front, Shoulder Zhen and Shoulder Middle are often used, together with Quchi, Hegu and Waiguan. Acupuncture varies from patient to patient in the treatment of frozen shoulder, and generally it takes 1-3 courses of treatment for long duration of the disease. Therefore, early detection and early treatment are necessary. 5.Physiotherapy, ultrashort wave, magnetic therapy, etc. 6.Functional exercise: Functional exercise is very important for patients with frozen shoulder: “Medical treatment is three points, practice is seven points”, do more exercises around the shoulder joint. 7.Bend and turn the shoulder: The patient bends and hangs the arm, flips the affected arm, and does a circle movement from inside to outside with the shoulder as the center. Back extension squat: The patient stands in front of the table with his back to the table, holding his hands back on the edge of the table, and then repeats the squatting motion to strengthen the back extension of the shoulder joint. 8. Wall climbing: The patient stands facing the wall, raises his hands upwards, holds them on the wall and tries to climb upwards, trying to climb higher than the previous day.
