Another ultrasound examination is usually recommended on the 3rd-7th day after menstrual cleansing. If the cyst persists, it is considered to be a pathological cyst and requires further transvaginal ultrasound monitoring and regular close follow-up. If the mass disappears during the review, it is usually considered a physiological cyst and does not require any treatment. If the next transvaginal ultrasound examination shows a cyst with good sound transmission and no intramural nodules, no obvious blood flow signals, and normal tumor markers, the patient can be followed up in the gynecology clinic on an outpatient basis with regular monitoring by outpatient ultrasound.
