Why receive regular TCT tests

Gynecologic liquid-based cytology test, or TCT for short, is a new technology for cervical cancer screening that is gradually replacing cervical smears. It is one of the most effective means of cervical cancer screening as it greatly improves the detection rate of precancerous cervical lesions compared to traditional Pap smear. Research data shows that the risk of cervical cancer can be reduced by 90% for married women who undergo TCT once a year. Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women, with the second highest incidence rate after breast cancer, and about 200,000 women die of cervical cancer worldwide each year, with China accounting for about 10%. In recent years, the global incidence of cervical cancer has increased and tends to be younger. Caring for women’s health is related to the happiness of a family. We hope more women can take care of their own body and receive TCT test regularly. TCT test tips 1. Avoid intercourse, bathing, vaginal douching or drug administration 24 hours before TCT test; 2. Avoid receiving TCT test during menstruation; 3. During acute inflammation of the cervix, you should receive medication before receiving TCT test; 4. Avoid premature TCT test if you have recently received cervical surgery (such as biopsy, conization, laser treatment, etc.).
