Can I drink alcohol if I have sacrococcygeal sinus?

Alcohol is not recommended. The sacrococcygeal sinus is prone to localised purulent infections.
On the one hand, alcohol is not conducive to recovery from infectious disease; on the other hand, many commonly used anti-infective drugs, such as cephalosporins and nitroimidazoles (metronidazole, etc.), can cause a disulfiram reaction, which can be fatal in severe cases, when used during alcohol consumption.
Therefore, for medical and therapeutic reasons, alcohol consumption is not recommended.
