Means of transmission and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are not only a disease that occurs in the genitourinary organs, but it can also invade the lymph nodes through the lymphatic system, seriously jeopardizing the physical and mental health of patients. Prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, we must first understand its transmission channels, blocking the source of infection, so as to stay away from sexually transmitted diseases. Sexually transmitted diseases are mainly transmitted in the following ways: 1, sexual contact transmission The so-called sexual contact transmission, mainly including kissing, touching, embracing, sexual intercourse and so on. The so-called sexual contact spread mainly includes kissing, touching, hugging, sexual intercourse, etc. Sexual intercourse is the main way of spreading sexually transmitted diseases. Sexual intercourse causes the spread of sexually transmitted diseases for the following reasons: (1) direct genital contact with pathogens. (2) Sexual intercourse of the two sides of the genitals are in a state of congestion, tissue pressure increases easy to damage. 2, indirect contact transmission When the skin of a healthy person has a break, contact with the lesions of the patient with sexually transmitted diseases at the vesicles and ulcers, the pathogen will be directly from the broken skin invasion caused by infection. It is also possible to become infected by touching the clothes, bedding and other utensils of an STD patient. This is because these items are contaminated with bacterial secretions. 3, blood or blood products transmission, such as syphilis, AIDS, gonorrhea, etc. can occur pathogenic blood, if the recipient of blood transfusion of such blood, can occur transmission of infection. This kind of infection is characterized by high morbidity, rapid onset, and severe systemic symptoms. 4, mother-to-child transmission, i.e., from the mother to the fetus through the placenta. 5, organ transplantation, artificial insemination and other transmission of this situation mainly occurs in doctors and nurses. Due to the lack of strict protection and thorough disinfection, the pathogen is not killed, and after using the infected instruments, it infects others. However, for sexually transmitted diseases, we should not be too afraid, as long as cleanliness is completely preventable: 1, adhere to a clean sex life, avoid premarital sex and extramarital sex. Although modern society is an open society, but we still have to advocate cleanliness, not premarital sex and extramarital sex. When the sexual partner has an abnormal situation, such as abnormal secretions, external genital lesions, ulcers, or in the menstrual period, should not be reluctant to have sex for the sake of momentary pleasure. 2, adopt safe sex, insist on the use of condoms. Condoms can provide a physical barrier to avoid direct contact with the body fluids or blood of the sexual partner, which can effectively reduce the risk of STDs and AIDS transmission. Of course, when choosing condoms, you should pay attention to choosing products with good reputation and quality assurance. At the same time, one should learn to use condoms correctly. Incorrect use of condoms will greatly reduce the preventive effect. 3, pay attention to personal physical hygiene and health. Wash your vulva daily, change your underwear often, don’t use other people’s underwear, bathtubs, etc. Public baths advocate showering, try to use squatting toilets in public toilets, wash your hands with soap before going to the toilet, and don’t swim in swimming pools that have high density and are not strictly disinfected. 4, prohibit drug use and sharing syringes. Drug abuse not only seriously jeopardizes health, but also spreads sexually transmitted diseases along with the abuse of injection tools. Receive education on basic knowledge of drugs and anti-drug laws and regulations, understand the harm of drugs, and know the truth that “one bite of a drug is like falling into the mouth of a tiger”. As long as we set up a correct outlook on life, do not blindly pursue enjoyment, seek excitement, catch up with the fashion, cleanliness and self-love, then we will be able to prevent and control sexually transmitted diseases fundamentally.
