A “coronal incision” is made at the top of the head 7-8 cm after the hairline and between the ears, so that the postoperative incision scar is easily concealed by the haircut; the frontalis muscle is separated downward to the level of the brow arch, the skin is lifted upward, 1-2 cm of excess skin is removed according to the degree of scalp laxity, and the scalp is sutured in layers to make the scar line as slight as possible. The eyebrows are lifted and the bloated mass of the upper eyelid is reduced. It is necessary to also excise or cut the “frown muscle” to reduce or eliminate the “interbrow lines”; excise or cut the “descending brow muscle” to reduce or eliminate the “transverse nasal root lines “(1) Excision or severance of the “frontalis” muscle to reduce or eliminate “horizontal forehead lines”. (1) If the hairline is too high and the forehead is wide, the incision can be changed to follow the frontal hairline and the temporal area can be spared behind the hairline. This adjustment will ensure that the hairline will not be pulled up again and the forehead will not be widened! (2) If the forehead wrinkles are not very heavy, the sagging eyebrows are not obvious and do not need to be lifted upward too much; or if the patient cannot receive a large incision for forehead wrinkle removal, “endoscopic forehead wrinkle removal” can be used.
