How long can you live with a malignant tumor of the lung

The survival time of lung malignant tumors is generally about 50% for early detection, early diagnosis and treatment, and about 20% for middle and late stages.
The survival time of lung malignant tumors is affected by many factors such as malignant degree, early and late detection, treatment plan, location, personal constitution and so on, and it is impossible to have a unified specific standard; however, with the progress of the society and the development of medical science, the survival time will be improved gradually.
Lung malignant tumors with surgical indications in early stage should be operated as early as possible, and radiotherapy is recommended for those without surgical indications. If the lesion is small and has not yet metastasized, the 5-year survival rate can reach about 50%; the 5-year survival rate in the middle and late stages is about 20%. Most of the patients are already in advanced stage at the time of diagnosis, and even the 3-year survival rate is less than 20%; some of the late-stage patients only survive for about 3~6 months.
Lung malignant tumors need to rely on early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment to improve the good prognosis, so the high incidence of people should be regular physical examination, found problems in a timely manner to seek medical treatment.
