How to treat foreskin impaction

Foreskin impaction is a complication of circumcision or prepuce. When the foreskin is turned over the head of the penis, if not reset in time, the foreskin ring will block the venous and lymphatic circulation and cause edema, resulting in the foreskin can not be reset, resulting in foreskin imbedded. After the occurrence of foreskin edema, the circumcision narrow ring is getting tighter and tighter, so that the circulation obstruction and edema is more serious, forming a vicious circle. The edematous foreskin is turned over on the coronal groove of the head of the penis, and the narrow ring can be seen at the upper edge of the edematous foreskin, and the head of the penis is dark purple and swollen. Children have severe pain, cry a lot, and may have difficulty urinating. Over time, the embedded foreskin and the head of the penis can become necrotic and detached. When parents find this kind of situation, they should take their children to the children’s hospital, the doctor will use manual reset, or surgical treatment to prevent necrosis of the penis head, if the embedded time is short, it is best to use circumcision, embedded time is too long or edema is serious to use the dorsal circumcision.
