Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis can have blood tests, including blood sedimentation, tuberculosis antibodies and T-spot, which are suggestive but not confirmative. If a patient wants to confirm the diagnosis of TB, in addition to blood sampling, PPD test, chest X-ray, lung CT, sputum check for antacid bacilli, etc. should be perfected, together with the patient’s clinical symptoms. Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis tend to have symptoms of tuberculosis toxicity such as low fever, weakness, night sweats, wasting, etc. The PPD test is usually strongly positive, and the chest X-ray and lung CT tend to show tuberculosis lesions.
