Stay away from high blood pressure and follow the five dietary principles

Hypertension has now become a chronic disease that is more prevalent in middle-aged and elderly people. In the treatment process, the patient’s dietary habits and diet plan have a greater impact on blood pressure control. Then in order to stay away from hypertension, it is recommended that you follow the following dietary principles. 1, control sodium intake: hypertension patients should try to eat a light daily diet, usually the daily salt intake should be controlled within 3g, less pickled, brined, smoked food, such as salted fish, salted eggs, squash, sauerkraut, leather eggs, curd, etc. 2, appropriate supplementation of potassium, calcium: the content of potassium in the body and blood pressure changes have a close relationship, hypertension patients can eat more potassium content of food, such as rape, spinach, bananas, oranges, etc.. In addition, you also need to pay attention to proper calcium supplementation, such as milk, soy foods, eggs, fish, etc. High concentration of calcium can reduce the smooth muscle contraction function of blood vessels, so that the blood vessels relax, and thus reduce blood pressure. 3, supplementation of vitamins and minerals: through appropriate supplementation of vitamins and minerals, help patients with hypertension to strengthen the body, thereby reducing the incidence of hypertension prevalence or complications. Such as fresh fruits and vegetables, kiwi, lemon, apple, grape, hawthorn, etc. 4, reduce fat intake: If people control the intake of fat in the diet for more than one month in a row and reduce the total calorie intake by a quarter, they will be able to reduce blood pressure, but due to individual differences, there are some differences in their blood pressure lowering effect. Therefore, we should avoid eating cholesterol-rich foods, such as animal oil, fatty pork, egg yolk, animal offal, etc. Cooking oil should not exceed 25 grams per person per day. 5, supplemental protein: It is recommended that patients with hypertension, daily protein intake to 1g per kg of body weight is better. Because some poor quality protein in the metabolic process is easy to produce harmful substances, in order to avoid blood pressure is affected, hypertensive patients should try to choose high-quality protein, such as fish and soy products, eggs, beef, etc.. In addition, when cooking in the choice of cooking oil, should try to avoid animal fat, choose soybean oil, canola oil, peanut oil and other edible vegetable oils. At the same time, you should stop smoking and limit alcohol consumption and eat regularly to maintain your blood pressure at a normal level and to achieve effective prevention and control of hypertension. In conclusion, by adjusting the dietary structure, controlling the intake of salt, fat, sugar and other substances, and appropriately increasing the intake of minerals and vitamins such as potassium and calcium, can help people stay away from hypertension.
