The Medical Imaging Center of the Second People’s Hospital of Hefei is the “Key Discipline of Clinical Medicine in Anhui Province” and “Key Discipline of Clinical Medicine in Hefei City”. The Department of Interventional Radiology is an important part of the Imaging Center. Interventional radiology is widely valued by the medical community and patients for its minimally invasive nature, low complications and good efficacy. In 2002, we established the first “Neurointerventional Center” in Anhui Province in cooperation with Huashan Hospital of Fudan University. Relying on the technical and talent advantages of domestic first-class hospitals, the department has been developing and expanding. Now we have 2 sets of advanced large C-arm DSA equipment, high pressure injector, ECG monitor, invasive blood pressure meter and other advanced instruments and equipment, 20 independently established standardized interventional beds, a group of high-quality personnel team, some projects are in the leading position in the province, reaching or close to the domestic advanced level. The director of the imaging center, Mr. Yin Shiwu, is a standing member of the Anhui Liver Cancer Committee, a member of the Interventional Radiology Group of the Anhui Radiological Society, a member of the Medical Imaging Management Technical Committee of Anhui Province, and a director of the Hefei Radiological Society. In 2001 and 2004, he was selected as “Top Talent” in the talent pool of Hefei Second Hospital for two consecutive terms; in 2004, he was awarded as “Young Professional and Technical Top Talent of Hefei”; in 2005, he was awarded as “Young Professional and Technical Top Talent of Hefei”.
