Causes of back pain in deep squats

The causes of squatting back pain are mainly lumbar back myofasciitis, supraspinous ligament or interspinous ligament injury, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spondylolisthesis, and lumbar spine traumatic factors.
1. Myofasciitis of the lumbar back: mostly related to usual strain, such as sedentary and standing for a long time, etc. The pain is usually sore and distended, and the pain will be triggered and aggravated after the force.
2. Supraspinous ligament or interspinous ligament injury: mostly related to strain injury and trauma, causing inflammation of supraspinous ligament, when squatting, the ligament will be aggravated, and the pain will be aggravated.
3. Lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spondylolisthesis: generally accompanied by pain and discomfort in the buttocks or lower limbs, and in severe cases, accompanied by numbness and weakness of the lower limbs, etc. When squatting, it will cause aggravation of the force in the lumbar back, and stimulate the nerve root to cause pain, and it can be diagnosed clearly by lumbar spine CT and MRI examination.
