Can Paeonia lactiflora and licorice soup treat back pain?

Paeonia lactiflora and Glycyrrhiza glabra soup is not suitable for all types of back pain, and is useful in treating back pain caused by deficiency of yin and blood and poor blood circulation.
Paeonia lactiflora and Glycyrrhiza glabra Tang is composed of Paeonia lactiflora and Glycyrrhiza glabra, which can harmonize the liver and spleen, relieve pain (relieve more urgent pain symptoms), and is used in treating typhoid fever (illnesses caused by fever due to feeling of cold) with injury to yin, loss of moistening of tendons and veins, contracture of the legs and feet, heartburn, slight malignant cold (fear of cold), disharmony of the liver and spleen, and pain in the epigastric (abdomen) region.
In this formula, white peony is acidic and bitter, which can move Ying Qi; roasted licorice is warm and sweet, which can harmonize the rebellious Qi; white peony can diarrhoea the liver, and licorice can slow down the liver and harmonize the spleen.
Patients are advised to take medication under the guidance of a doctor, and should not take medication on their own to avoid delaying their condition.
