Sweating includes dominant sweating and non-dominant sweating. If the temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius, people start to sweat, and the active sweat glands increase, sweating is obvious, and the feeling of sweating is called dominant sweating. When nervousness, fear or eating irritating food, small sweat gland secretion activity obviously increased, sweating increased, also known as dominant sweating, through sweat volatilization can take away heat and play a role in regulating body temperature.  The sweating is usually less than the sweating of ordinary people every day, and is generally not felt subjectively, which is called non-dominant sweating in medical terms. Both of these sweating patterns are normal, and they both regulate the distribution of heat, thus keeping the body temperature constant. The reason why a healthy person must have sweating, and this is even more important for children, there is a saying that “in order for a child to be safe, the body sweat often does not dry”, this is a certain scientific basis. So that children usually have to sweat properly, not sweat is not normal.  But compared to adults, children sweat more. This is due to the rapid growth and development of children, metabolism is more vigorous than adults, the heat generated and metabolic products are relatively more. Children belong to the pure Yang body, the body is delicate and soft, muscles and skin are very weak, also more likely to sweat. The main clinical causes of excessive sweating in children are zinc and calcium deficiency, as well as deficient sweating due to physical weakness. In Chinese medicine, sweating is divided into spontaneous sweating and night sweating, both of which are pathological phenomena. The actual sweating should eat more foods that have the effect of strengthening the spleen, such as japonica rice, coic rice, etc.  Night sweats should eat more foods that have the effect of nourishing yin and generating fluid, such as millet, wheat flour and a variety of mixed grains and soy products, milk, eggs, lean meat, fish, etc. Fruits and vegetables should also be eaten more often, especially to eat more apples, sugar cane, bananas, grapes, hawthorn, watermelon and other fruits that contain more vitamins.
