If the patient is currently experiencing panic, nausea, and vomiting, this condition may be due to the patient experiencing paroxysmal atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. In such patients, treatment can be combined with amiodarone to restore sinus rhythm, along with ECG monitoring and subcutaneous injection of low molecular heparin. If the patient’s panic, nausea and vomiting are caused by gastrointestinal flu, the patient should be treated with levofloxacin and take some medications to improve nausea and vomiting, such as oral gastrofloxacin. It is also recommended that the patient should have further tests such as serum ions, blood tests and electrocardiograms, and if hypokalemia is present, oral potassium chloride extended-release tablets.
