What to take for a stuffy nose and cough

Cold and flu patients with nasal congestion and cough are usually treated with a combination of cold and flu medications of choice. Cold is an acute upper respiratory tract infection, mostly caused by viral infections, so only symptomatic treatment is needed. When the symptoms of nasal congestion and cough appear, you can choose a combination of cold medicine, commonly used drugs such as compound aminoglutethimide, phenomethamine tablets, and meprobamate oral solution, which contain antihistamines to relieve the symptoms of nasal congestion, as well as cough suppressants to relieve cough symptoms. Therefore, cold patients with nasal congestion and cough only need symptomatic treatment. If the symptoms persist and cannot be relieved, other complications should be considered, such as complications of bronchitis or pneumonia, and a chest X-ray or CT examination of the lungs needs to be perfected.
