What to do if the cervical dural sac is compressed

  Cervical dural sac compression can cause a wide range of complex clinical manifestations with symptoms that are related to the degree of dural sac compression and different treatment options for different degrees of dural sac compression.  Cervical dural sac compression mainly refers to a herniated cervical disc that compresses the nerve or spinal cord; if the compression is not obvious, it can cause the appropriate symptoms.  If the dural sac does not cause obvious nerve root compression and cause symptoms such as hand numbness and pain, prevention is still the main focus; if the dural sac compression causes nerve compression or even compression of the spinal cord, you can first do some physical therapy, such as traction massage, etc., and if necessary, you can do plasma radiofrequency ablation or ozone intervention. If the condition is severe and these treatment measures cannot relieve the dural sac compression, minimally invasive or open surgery should be performed.  To prevent dural sac compression, prevention is the key, to develop good habits, usually avoid prolonged head down reading, work, avoid prolonged use of computers, cell phones, sleep pillows should not be too high. You should exercise more and play ball to help prevent cervical spondylosis.  For cervical dural sac compression, medication is not effective and requires physical therapy or even surgery, so prevention has an important significance.
