Choledochal cyst is a common congenital bile duct abnormality and its most serious complications are combined with bile duct cancer, recurrent choledocholithiasis, and cholangitis, so it should be treated surgically as soon as it is detected. Cystectomy and bile duct jejunostomy with Roux-en-Y anastomosis are the standard treatment methods. Currently, laparoscopic cholecystectomy has become the procedure of choice for gallbladder disease, and more and more surgical diseases can be treated by laparoscopic techniques. Laparoscopic surgery for common bile duct cysts has also been gradually carried out in many hospitals. The advantages of laparoscopic choledochal cystectomy are: 1. The laparoscopic lens can be rotated in the body for a comprehensive view of the abdominal cavity; 2. 4. Less interference with other organs in the abdominal cavity, which further reduces the trauma to the patient and the chance of complications such as postoperative intestinal adhesions and obstruction. We are now performing this procedure, and welcome new and old patients to consult with us. My specialist clinic hours are every Monday morning from 8-11am.
