How to bleed after rectal polyp surgery

Patients with rectal polyps need to undergo endoscopic surgery. If bleeding occurs after rectal polypectomy, it should be considered whether there is residual stool in the intestine to erode the trauma, and it is recommended to treat the patient as follows: 1. fasting treatment; 2. transanal injection of a small amount of hemostatic drugs; 3. intravenous application of hemostatic drugs. If the patient still has bleeding occurring, or even the bleeding volume is getting larger, it is recommended to consider small submucosal artery bleeding, promptly perform colonoscopy, and perform hemostatic operations under endoscopy, such as spraying hemostatic drugs and electrocoagulation.
