The baby’s three years of snoring finally got better

Snoring, or snoring, has a prevalence of 1% to 3% in children and is clinically known as obstructive sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome. The most common causes of this disease in children are adenoids, tonsillitis, obesity and chronic rhinitis and sinusitis. In recent years, with the gradual improvement of our living standard and the strengthening of health care awareness, more and more people have gradually learned that this disease can adversely affect the cardiovascular system, growth and development, cognitive function of the nervous system, and maxillofacial development of the affected children. In children with snoring caused by various reasons, as long as there is snoring, whether in apnea or not, the oxygen saturation of the child is below 80%, and there is a possibility of hypoxic asphyxia in serious cases. Snoring occurs due to frequent partial or total upper airway obstruction during sleep, which disrupts the normal ventilation and sleep structure during sleep and causes a series of clinical changes in children. Common symptoms in children include snoring at night, open-mouth breathing, dyspnea, chest and abdominal reverse abnormal breathing, apnea, sleep disturbance, enuresis, teeth grinding, hyperhidrosis, hyperactivity and inattention, etc. In severe cases, it may lead to developmental delay, cardiac insufficiency box sudden death. Smaller infants may have feeding difficulties and developmental delays. Children with a long history of adenoid hyperplasia may develop an adenoid face due to chronic hypoxia, open-mouth breathing, and labored breathing. The manifestations are: elongated maxilla, high frontal bone arch, uneven teeth, prominent upper incisors, thick lips, lack of facial expression, etc. The special treatment for tonsils at Yuncheng City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to apply tonsillitis ointment (formerly known as “tonsillopharyngeal elimination” and “tonsillitis elimination”) directly to the lower jaw opposite the tonsils to clear heat and detoxify the toxins, reduce swelling and disperse nodules. Tonsillitis ointment is a purely traditional Chinese medicine paste with direct action. It has a therapeutic effect when applied during acute attacks and a clearing effect when applied during non-acute attacks, so that recurrent tonsillitis does not recur.
