What about children who are good at breathing?

It is a common clinical symptom in pediatrics, mainly manifested as children often feel short of breath and sigh frequently to relieve chest tightness, and can be seen in a variety of diseases. Tai pause is an exhalation-based deep breathing, which is synonymous with sighing. In normal people, there are also intermittent deep breathing, but if you sigh frequently, it is a pathological state, called “good tai hui”. The author identifies the causes and classifies good tai hui into liver and gallbladder heat, heart qi deficiency, phlegm blocking qi and other evidence types for treatment. 1, liver and gallbladder heat Although children are less likely to have internal injuries than adults, they are weak, not yet psychologically sound, emotionally unstable, and lack the ability to respond to external stimuli, so they are prone to Qi disorders and dysfunction of the internal organs. Children are stubborn, easily provoked, if they do not want to, often crying, or depressed and angry do not speak. Zhu Danxi said: “Children are prone to anger, liver disease is the most”, depression and anger is not resolved, then injury to the liver and gallbladder and disease. Ling Shu distension theory: “gall bladder distension, under the hypochondrium distension pain, bitter in the mouth, good tai breath”. The clinical onset of the disease is mostly preceded by mental and emotional triggers. The treatment should be patient with the psychological work of the head of the family and the child, and be supplemented by medication after psychological guidance. Commonly used formula such as gentian diarrhea of the liver soup with addition and subtraction. If the mouth is bitter, add bamboo rhizome and Huanglian; if the chest is distended and painful, add neem, green peel and heliotrope. 2, Heart Qi deficiency This type of child mostly has a history of repeated respiratory infections, resulting in heart muscle damage or myocarditis. In this case, the long outgassing is a sign of insufficient heart function. The mechanism is that the heart muscle contraction is weak, and the heart ejection volume occasionally decreases, resulting in transient pulmonary blood depression, which reflexively causes lung expansion, manifested as deep inspiration, followed by lung contraction, which manifests as long outgassing. Children repeatedly suffer from evil, damaging the heart arteries, insufficient heart qi, difficult to drum up blood, poor blood flow, unfavorable qi flow and tai hui chest tightness, shortness of breath and palpitations, weakness and sweating, less breath and lazy speech, lack of facial color, weak pulse count or knot generation. The treatment is to nourish the heart with qi, commonly used formulas such as Shengwen San and Bao Yuan Tang plus or minus. For Qi deficiency and excessive sweating, add floating wheat and raw oyster; for palpitations, add roasted licorice and raw keel; for chest pain, add Salvia miltiorrhiza, Ulva lucidum and Red peony. 3, phlegm blocking qi This type is mostly seen in children who are obese, sweet and sweet-loving. The spleen is often deficient in children, and the lack of diet and diet predilection can easily make the spleen lose its health and function, resulting in phlegm growth inside. The treatment is to strengthen the spleen and resolve phlegm, move the qi and lower the rebellion, commonly used formula such as Hanxia Houpu Tang plus or minus. If there is a lot of phlegm, add zhebei mu, guahu, dongguaren; if there is chest congestion, add allium, mulberry skin; if there is constipation, add rhubarb, lycopodium, heliotrope; if there is heat, add scutellaria, yellow lily.
