Anal dampness is a common clinical manifestation of local anal diseases and a concomitant symptom, mainly due to more local skin secretions in the anal canal and anus resulting in dampness and discomfort. Patients usually feel a foreign body sensation in the anal area, and in patients with serious symptoms, there is also local itching with tingling sensation in the anal area.
