Whether nodal calcification is cancerous or not depends on the nature of the nodal calcification.
If the calcification is fine-like, then it is more likely to be cancerous, and if it is coarse, it is generally not cancerous nodal calcification. The first thing you need to do is to get a good idea of what you are getting into. If the calcification is more than 15 cubic meters in size, it is considered malignant, and we need to do a cytology puncture and, if available at home, an enhanced MRI of the breast to determine whether the calcification is benign or malignant.
Usually, calcification of breast nodes, which are benign calcifications, can be reviewed once a year with a mammogram.
