Epiampicin as adjuvant chemotherapy regimen after breast cancer surgery

Objective:To evaluate the safety of vincristine combined with epiampicin regimen (NE regimen) as postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer. Methods: Sixty-one cases of breast cancer were treated with NE regimen: vincristine 40 mg/m2, intravenous d1, 8; epiampicin 50 mg/m2, intravenous d1-2. 21-28 d was one cycle, 4-6 cycles in total. Side effects and survival were monitored after administration. The main side effects were bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal reactions, all of which were reversible. 5-year survival rate was 87.9%. Conclusion: The NE regimen as adjuvant chemotherapy for postoperative breast cancer is tolerable in terms of side effects and has a high long-term survival rate.
