Zhengqi Shui, or Patchouli Zhengqi Shui, can be consumed by patients who do not have heatstroke but have other indications for this medicine, provided there are no contraindications. Pogostemon Zhenqi Shui is composed of Cangzhu, Chenpi, Houpu, Atractylodes Macrocephalae and other medicines, which has the effects of relieving the surface and resolving dampness (relieving the evils of external sensation and getting rid of dampness in the body), regulating the qi and neutralizing the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach to make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth). This product is often used in treating colds and flu caused by external wind-cold, internal dampness stagnation (stagnation of dampness in the body due to overly cold diet) or summer dampness, with headache and heaviness, chest and diaphragm constriction, distension and pain in the epigastric region, vomiting and diarrhea; and gastrointestinal colds and flu with the above symptoms. Adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting and skin rash may occur after using this drug. The use of this drug is prohibited in patients who are allergic to this product, patients who are allergic to alcohol. Therefore patients who do not have heatstroke but have other indications for this product may also drink this drug in the absence of contraindications.
