Objective To investigate the non-surgical treatment methods and efficacy of frozen shoulder. Methods 120 cases of frozen shoulder were divided into 4 groups according to the order of consultation: group 1 used active exercise therapy; group 2 used exercise therapy plus hormone closure; group 3 used exercise therapy, hormone closure plus manual release; group 4 was the control group, using rest and oral vitamin B1. Results Recent efficacy (excellent rate at the end of 3 weekends): 50% in the exercise group; 73.3% in the hormone closure group; 83.3% in the manual release group; 25.0% in the control group. There was no significant difference between the two groups except for the hormone closure group and the manual release group, but there were significant differences between all the groups.
