Do nasal polyps go away on their own?

  Nasal polyps do not usually disappear on their own. If the nasal polyp is large, it is recommended to take treatment as soon as possible to avoid its further increase or cause other diseases.  Nasal polyp is a common disease of the nasal cavity, is superfluous on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity or sinus protruding from the surface of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, with nasal obstruction or increased nasal discharge as a common manifestation. If the nasal polyp is small, it can be treated with medication at the ENT department. If medication is not effective, minimally invasive surgery can be performed to remove nasal polyps. After surgical removal, patients are advised to live a healthy life and have regular follow-ups to avoid frequent recurrence, otherwise there is a possibility of malignancy.  Patients with nasal polyps should pay attention to keep the indoor air fresh, eat less spicy and stimulating food, and also use nasal sprays to prevent the occurrence and development of nasal polyps.
