A flu isolation days

Usually influenza A patients need to be isolated for about 7-15 days depending on their condition. Influenza A is a respiratory infectious disease caused by infection with influenza A (H1N1) virus, mainly through droplet transmission through the respiratory tract, direct or indirect skin mucous membrane contact can also be transmitted, clinical manifestations of cough, fever, headache, general muscle and joint pain, and even breathing difficulties and other symptoms. Patients with milder influenza A will be treated with antiviral therapy for about 5-7 days, and isolated for about 2-3 days after the symptoms are relieved; patients with severe symptoms of influenza A need to be treated for more than 15 days, such as severe pneumonia that can easily cause respiratory failure, and there is a risk of death due to respiratory failure, and patients must be admitted to the intensive care unit to give ventilator-assisted breathing. Therefore, the specific isolation time for influenza A patients needs to be decided according to whether there is a risk of transmission. Patients who have symptoms of influenza A must go to the infection department of a regular hospital in a timely manner, actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, work and rest regularly, and actively exercise to improve their immunity.
