Is Subcutaneous Lipoma Surgery Simple

There is no simple statement of surgery, all of them will have certain risks. The common surgical methods for subcutaneous lipoma are lipomectomy and liposuction. 1. Liposarcoma excision: when the tumor causes local pain and discomfort, the tumor grows fast and has the tendency of malignant transformation, it is usually necessary to remove the liposarcoma surgically after local infiltration anesthesia, the recurrence rate after the operation is relatively small, but it may leave scars. 2. Liposuction: when the symptoms of subcutaneous lipoma are not serious and there is no tendency of malignant transformation, a syringe can be used to extract the fat tissue to achieve the purpose of reducing the size of the tumor. After the surgery, patients should take good postoperative care under the guidance of physicians to promote wound healing and recovery of the disease, and undergo regular rechecks to observe whether there is any recurrence of the tumor. Note: The resected lipoma tissue routinely needs to be pathologically examined.
