What should I do if I have a cracked tooth?

Cracked teeth can be treated in different ways depending on the depth of the crack and the size of the crack.
Minimal cracks or asymptomatic cracks can be treated by jaw adjustment or resin filling to reduce the biting force and protect the cracked area.
Larger, deeper cracks can be treated with root canal therapy followed by porcelain crown restoration to protect the crown from further aggravation.
For teeth that are completely cracked, if there is really no value in retaining them, the missing tooth should be restored after early extraction.
