Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The main lesions in the lungs are tuberculosis nodules, infiltrates, caseous necrosis and cavity formation. The clinical manifestations are mainly symptoms of tuberculosis toxicity such as poor appetite, weakness, lethargy, afternoon fever and night sweats, accompanied by cough and sputum, and in some cases, hemoptysis and other such manifestations. The source of infection is open tuberculosis patients, and the transmission is by airborne droplets, and the population is generally susceptible. The most common prevention method is BCG vaccination, and the most important thing is to isolate the source of infection and treat it promptly.
