In outpatient work, you can often encounter various situations where the efficiency of the consultation is affected by the patient’s own lack of adequate preparation, which leads to repeated trips to the clinic and wasted time and money. So, what preparations should patients make before visiting the clinic? 1, prepare your medical history, including a brief medical history, the main symptoms of discomfort, the use of drugs, laboratory tests, test reports, other disease history. It is best to transcribe clearly or print. This will make it easier for the doctor to clearly understand your condition and save time. 2. Write an outline. Make an outline of the questions you want to ask and other things you would like the doctor to answer, so you don’t miss anything. Again, this will save time. This is another time I mention. Since doctors see a large number of patients every day, the average visit is actually only a few minutes per patient (e.g., 40 patients in 4 hours, 6 minutes per person if you keep seeing them), so being well prepared in advance will allow you to make the most of your limited visit. 3., to blindly pursue the expert number. Specialist numbers are generally more difficult to hang, the pursuit of specialist numbers will only make you repeatedly run around and get up early to queue up and may not be successful. But in fact, most of the patients’ conditions are not complicated, the ordinary number can be solved. If your condition is too complex to be handled by a doctor with a general number, he or she will naturally recommend that you go to a specialist’s office. If your economic strength allows, you can also directly choose the special needs clinic, special needs clinic are senior experts, registration is relatively easy, the consultation time is also more abundant, of course, the registration fee is more expensive, registration fees range from 100-300 yuan. 4. Choice of time. It is usually not recommended to visit the hospital on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, because many tests and examinations cannot be carried out or results given in time because of public holidays, so it will lead to you may not be able to solve the problem in one day, but also need multiple follow-ups on multiple days, delaying the time. Most of our laboratory tests can be done on the same day if the blood is taken before 10:00 am. However, if you are usually busy, Friday through Sunday is a good choice, as these days usually have fewer outpatients and are easier to register. However, it is important to note that some hospitals do not have specialist clinics on Saturdays and Sundays, and some do not have them on half days, so it is best to find out in advance. If you really can’t get away during the week, night clinics and emergency clinics can also be considered. 5, the body’s preparation. Visits to the hospital often require laboratory tests, so it is best to keep an empty stomach, that is, do not eat in the morning. If you are not having a gynecological ultrasound, you do not need to hold your urine. Moreover, some laboratory tests and examinations are not done in the afternoon in our hospital, such as ultrasound and CT, so it is better to visit the hospital in the morning. 6. Money aspect. This is still a good point, but considering the security factors do not recommend carrying a lot of cash, you can carry a bank card, many hospitals now support cash machines, our hospital can also be directly card payment. 7, shopping bags. Now some hospitals no longer provide free plastic bags, so patients who may need to bring medicine better prepare a good shopping bag for drugs.
