Patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia may present with symptoms of eye pain. Typical symptoms of novel coronavirus pneumonia include fever, malaise, and dry cough. However, some patients can have atypical symptoms, such as patients presenting to the clinic without obvious fever, cough and related respiratory symptoms, and only presenting with ophthalmic symptoms, such as conjunctivitis, as the first symptom, and patients can also present with eye pain. Since some patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia do not have obvious symptoms such as fever, medical personnel need to be vigilant and conduct relevant investigations in a timely manner for patients who present with poor nausea, fatigue, muscle aches and slightly poor mental health.
