Ovarian cysts are divided into physiological cysts and pathological cysts. If they are physiological, they usually do not require surgery or intervention, and they will slowly disappear with the menstrual cycle. It will disappear slowly with the menstrual cycle. Usually two menstrual cycles can be observed. In contrast, pathological cysts must be treated with surgery or ultrasound intervention, both of which can achieve satisfactory results, but intervention has more advantages. How can we tell if a cyst is physiological or pathological? The ultrasonographer should have several factors: theoretical level, experience factor, follow-up observation, laboratory tests, etc. It is never a single ultrasound image identification that adds physiological and psychological burden to the patient by making unauthorized conclusions.
