How much sweating on the hands is hand sweating?

Hand sweating is a benign disease that is characterized by severe sweating of the palms of the hands, which can form water droplets and even drip downward. Many patients are very distressed by this. Most of these patients are young people, and sweaty hands cause a great deal of trouble in their lives and work. Some patients jokingly refer to themselves as “youthful sailors” to express their feelings of loss. How much sweating is considered hand sweating? It’s not that sweaty hands are necessarily hand sweating, but there are certain criteria for determining hand sweating. The sweaty hands are divided into three categories: mild, moderate, and severe. Mild hand sweating is characterized by slightly moist palms; moderate hand sweating is characterized by significantly moist palms; and severe hand sweating is characterized by water droplets and even dripping. And of these three categories, moderate and severe hand sweating is the one that requires treatment. However, there is really no objective diagnostic criteria. Is hand sweating related to the hot and cold environment? Hand sweating is primarily a congenital, genetically determined disorder and has little to do with the environment in which it grows or how it develops later in life. Do fat people tend to have hand sweating? No, fat people tend to sweat a lot all over their body, while hand sweating is severe sweating on the palms or hands and feet, but not on the torso, and has little to do with body size. Some patients with hand sweating are combined with axillary hyperhidrosis (hand, foot, and axillary hyperhidrosis), and a significant number of patients are combined with foot sweating (hand and foot hyperhidrosis), and a small number of patients are combined with axillary odor. There used to be a misconception that hand sweating was not considered a disease, that hand sweating just affected life and was not a major problem. However, after contacting many patients with hand sweating, I found that some patients have sweaty hands that keep baring down and can stain the phone screen, so they can’t use their phones at all, and they can’t participate in any work that requires their hands, which is very painful for them. It is now believed that it is indeed a disease. Does hand sweating disorder have any health implications? It is mainly a life and emotional impact. There are no essential health effects. What are primary and secondary hyperhidrosis respectively? Primary hyperhidrosis is a condition that has no etiology and is mainly determined by congenital factors. Is the treatment for primary and secondary hyperhidrosis the same? Primary hyperhidrosis can be well treated by surgery; secondary hyperhidrosis is often generalized hyperhidrosis rather than simple hand sweating, and secondary hyperhidrosis is mainly treated for the primary diseases such as hyperthyroidism, diabetes and tuberculosis.
