How much do you know about TCM thinking?

Chinese traditional medicine is a great treasure trove, the essence and treasure of national culture. For thousands of years, with its unique theoretical system of disease prevention and treatment, TCM has made outstanding contributions to the preventive health care of people in China and the world. Due to various reasons, especially the rapid development of Western medicine and the “lack of successors” of Chinese medicine talents, the position of Chinese medicine has shrunk and the clinical application rate of Chinese medicine has declined seriously. Some students trained in Chinese medicine colleges, originally learned in school is not deep and impervious to theoretical knowledge of Chinese medicine, and after graduation is not willing to engage in Chinese medicine work, clinical move to the West, a few years later on the theory of Chinese medicine is almost forgotten, not to mention the use of Chinese medicine to see patients; some in order to highlight the characteristics of Chinese medicine (or obstruct the brand of Chinese medicine practitioners) also prescribe some Chinese medicine, especially for inpatients to prescribe Chinese medicine. The inpatient medical record is basically a transcription of the standard evidence in the book, one side to the end, no changes in addition or subtraction, how long the hospitalization, this Chinese medicine prescription on how long to serve, insiders can see at a glance this is to do superficial articles, over the scene, rather than the real application of Chinese medicine theory dialectical treatment. This phenomenon is not in any one hospital, but is almost a common phenomenon. Professor Kuang Tuiyuan of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has hit the nail on the head: “The so-called lack of art in the future, not lack of the art of copying books, but lack of the art of treating and saving people with the four diagnoses and the eight outlines of evidence-based treatment”, so on, Chinese medicine will exist in name only. Chinese traditional medicine has a long history, profound and profound, and after thousands of years of continuous enrichment and improvement, it has formed a unique theoretical system and practical diagnosis and treatment system, which has valuable experience and unique advantages in prevention, health care, treatment and rehabilitation. With the gradual establishment and improvement of the modern medical service system and the formulation and improvement of related medical laws and regulations, the service fields and service methods of TCM in the modern medical service system are somehow incompatible or in conflict with the related medical laws and regulations, which restricts TCM to better serve people’s health with its advantages, and to a certain extent has become a bottleneck to its development. To some extent, this has become a bottleneck to its development. Secondly, there are some problems in the TCM industry and TCM medical personnel themselves, which also lead to the shrinking of TCM positions, narrowing of service fields and narrowing of service channels. In this paper, by enumerating the conflicts and contradictions that arise in specific TCM medical activities, we discuss how to coordinate the characteristics, advantages and laws and regulations of TCM with its own characteristics, so as to build on its strengths and avoid its weaknesses, and better consolidate and expand the status and scope of TCM in the modern medical service system. 1, the current situation of Chinese medicine and the existing problems 1.1 Chinese medicine positions shrink and the service field becomes narrow is worrying With the gradual improvement of the national Chinese medicine education system, Chinese medicine personnel in the number of rapid progress, has exceeded a million army; however, the position of Chinese medicine is in the gradual shrinkage, Chinese medicine service field is becoming narrower, the number of real use of Chinese medicine practitioners decreasing, this is already an indisputable fact. The increase in the number of statistics and the sharp decrease in the actual number coexist; the relative value-added in quantity and the overall decline in quality coexist; the problem may seem contradictory, but this is the reality of Chinese medicine. Specifically, it is manifested in the following aspects: 1.1.1 Westernization of TCM hospitals and Westernization of TCM personnel From the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the 1980s of last century, China has basically realized that, from the Ministry of Health directly under the Ministry of Health (Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its affiliated hospitals) to all provinces, cities and counties, there are basically TCM hospitals (or ethnic medicine), and some provinces and cities also have research institutes, or research institutes specializing in TCM research; provinces (including From the central to the local level, a relatively complete system of TCM institutions has been built; these are of pivotal importance for the better inheritance and development of TCM. However, under the influence of the market economy or other subjective and objective factors, Chinese medicine hospitals, especially those without their own characteristics, face the problem of food and clothing, and have no choice but to Westernize, and the same level of Western hospitals or general hospitals to compete for patients and efficiency, some have gained momentary success and thus alleviate the pressure, and some are fighting for blood. Because of the long period of training of Chinese medical personnel, the recent benefits are not obvious, so a large number of Chinese medical personnel change course; secondly, Chinese medicine is difficult to learn, he needs to learners with a more comprehensive knowledge, including literature, history, philosophy and other aspects, and inside the need for their own enlightenment innate endowment requirements high; no Western medicine to the fast, and image, intuitive, many people know the difficulties and discourage. Many students of Chinese medicine colleges and universities after graduation to engage in Western medicine, many Chinese physicians, including many with senior Chinese medicine professional and technical titles medical personnel, are also engaged in Western medical treatment and technical services. The emergence of this phenomenon is not accidental, the reasons for this, one for the impact of the tide of the market economy, followed by the low quality of Chinese medicine practitioners themselves, low business standards, lack of confidence; Chinese medicine talent problem is a major factor plaguing the development of Chinese medicine. 1.1.2 Contradiction between characteristics and advantages in specific practice activities For the issue of characteristics and advantages, which is a hot topic, characteristics are not equal to advantages, and can be transferred to advantages only when the characteristics are well played. Features are the sufficient but not necessary condition of advantages. The display of advantages requires better or full play of characteristics. In specific medical activities due to certain policy reasons, the characteristics of Chinese medicine cannot be given full play under certain conditions. In other words, the objective conditions in some cases do not allow or are not conducive to the full play and display of the characteristics of TCM. This creates a conflict between laws and regulations at the macro level and the subjective consciousness and ideology of policy or decision makers; and in some cases this conflict is irreconcilable and unavoidable; thus a realistic proposition in front of the majority of Chinese medicine workers. And it needs to be solved in time, it is better to be fast than slow, it is better to be fast than late; 1.2 The existing medical laws and regulations are not conducive to the development of Chinese medicine With the gradual establishment and improvement of China’s judicial and health legal system, especially after joining WTO, the laws and regulations of China’s medical service industry system are being improved and in line with the international medical and health system. As a modern medical service system related to the establishment of laws and regulations, mainly in accordance with modern medicine (Western medicine) as a reference standard; although, Chinese medicine also has its own disease evidence standards, but is still very imperfect and incomplete. Thus, to a certain extent, it forms an inevitable conflict with traditional Chinese medicine in some fields, which restricts Chinese medicine to better serve the health of the general public in the modern medical service system based on its own characteristics and advantages, and to a certain extent becomes a bottleneck for its development; here are some examples. 1.2.1 Reference standard of disease diagnosis standard and efficacy evaluation system As far as the current situation is concerned, the diagnosis standard and efficacy evaluation system of TCM in medical activities are still in the construction stage, which are still very imperfect and incomplete. Medical activities, often need to rely on Western medicine evaluation system; such as Chinese medicine treatment of dysmenorrhea, clinical practice, the efficacy is significant, but the specific diagnosis and evaluation of the indications, often more ambiguous, the degree of pain mediated, the lack of specific quantitative indicators, which on the one hand is not conducive to the doctor to master, and the second to medical activities when disputes, often to the detriment of doctors, hospitals. This is invariably detrimental to the normal development of TCM medical activities. 1.2.2 Clinical diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine and medical disputes in accident identification Medical disputes will inevitably arise in medical activities, and the identification system adopted by the current principles of medical malpractice often requires or relies on Western medical standards. Although TCM doctors use the “four diagnoses” or “eight principles”, or the “internal organs”, or the “six meridians”, or the “three jiao”, etc., to discriminate and treat, and the theory, method, prescription and medicine are meticulous and rigorous, seemingly infallible; however, once medical disputes arise, the lack of specific quantifiable standards in medical malpractice identification, doctors are often in a very passive position, to eat defeat and eat lawsuits; this has caused a conflict between specific clinical discriminatory treatment and laws and regulations in medical activities; so that Medical units and TCM medical personnel are very passive. 1.2.3 Macro-level laws and regulations are still debatable and need to be enriched and improved. The problems of macro-level laws and regulations here are mainly reflected in the fact that, firstly, the legalization process of traditional medicine is lagging behind and needs to be accelerated. The measures are not hard, and there is no or distance from the purpose of protecting and developing Chinese medicine according to the law. Second, the macro orientation of health and economic policies is not conducive to the play of the characteristics and advantages of TCM; the service charges of TCM treatment are small, the level of technical labor is low, and TCM hospitals are forced to allocate their limited resources or funds to large equipment and Western medicine modernization technology projects with high economic returns as a priority due to the pressure of survival, resulting in the atrophy or disuse of TCM characteristic treatment technology; in fact, the TCM hospitals are in an In fact, the position of TCM hospitals is very awkward, wanting to play the characteristics but facing the problem of survival and food. 1.2.4 Challenges and opportunities brought by industry standardization Industry standardization is a guideline to regulate the behavior of the industry, which is conducive to the industry’s better advantage and protection when the system is complete. Nowadays, there is a set of standardized management for Chinese herbal medicines from raw materials to drug production to sales. The quality management standard for the production of Chinese herbal medicines (GAP), GLP (testing), GMP (production), GCP (clinical) and GSP (marketing) will do more good than harm in the long run; this is also an inevitable trend of modernization. Anything in the initial stage will bring certain challenges, and, in a short time frame, the challenges outweigh the opportunities. Chinese medicine to adapt to the development of the situation will have to improve the dosage form to break the shortcomings of the traditional single dosage form, and now the state requirements for Chinese medicine preparations into GMP standards, which is an aspect of the protection of patent rights for some hospitals with good benefits and early start; for some hospitals with a thin base and late start is undoubtedly an important challenge. 2, the times need high clinical quality of Chinese medicine Any nation without its own national culture can not stand in the forest of the world’s nations. Traditional Chinese medicine is the characteristics of China’s traditional science, is an important part of China’s excellent culture. She comes from the direct experience of our national life and production practice, and is deeply rooted in Chinese culture; she has a unique theoretical system and health care advantages that are difficult to replace, and has undergone the test of clinical practice for thousands of years, accumulating rich clinical experience and reliable clinical efficacy, and has made outstanding contributions to the health of the Chinese nation. She is the pride of our Chinese nation. The “Four Great Inventions” of China in ancient times: paper making, printing, compass and gunpowder, have been replaced by modern science today. Chinese medicine, however, has become more and more advanced with the change of time. More and more difficult diseases in the world are looking to TCM; more and more TCM enthusiasts are coming to China to study TCM; more and more countries are granting permission to run TCM colleges and hospitals; more and more new diseases such as SARS are relying on TCM to break through …… TCM is going to shoulder a heavier historical mission. Mr. Qian Xuesen said: “In the 21st century, the master of medicine is TCM”, the scientist’s prediction is well-founded. 20 century, all the world’s Nobel Prize wisdom stars gathered in New York to discuss a question: “What is the most important thing for mankind in the 21st century? ” The answer is amazingly unanimous: health! It is evident that health is the number one need of mankind in the 21st century. The times call for Chinese medicine, health needs Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine in the 21st century to continue to contribute to the health of mankind, must continue to strengthen their own strength, improve their own quality, so the training and creation of a number of high clinical quality of Chinese medicine personnel is urgent. 3, clinical efficacy is the basis for the survival and development of Chinese medicine Chinese medicine is increasingly favored by the general public and the people of the world because she has good clinical efficacy. In today’s aggressive development of Western medicine, we can still survive and develop Chinese medicine, the key is to have efficacy. Chinese medicine has a unique theory, she is people-oriented, and heaven and earth to participate in the organs and meridians, Wei Qi, Ying and blood and the four gases and five flavors, lifting and sinking and other theoretical system as the basis, but also with these theories to explain the human body physiology, pathology, diagnosis, treatment and diagnosis and treatment system; according to the objective reality, pay attention to human self-health and self-healing ability, creating a lot of very rich prevention and treatment of disease, health care methods. For thousands of years, it has made brilliant achievements in providing health care for people and has been recognized by people all over the world. But efficacy does not come out of thin air, it is necessary to really master her theories and really use TCM theories to guide clinical practice in order to produce good results. The current situation of Chinese medicine today is worrying. We must step up the training of high-quality TCM talents in order to truly stand in the forest of the world’s national culture. 4. Measures to be taken and solutions to problems 4.1 Developing and implementing practical TCM policies is a guarantee A visionary manager brings people not only quality and efficiency, but also research and talent. A modern TCM hospital, if it only has a gorgeous appearance but no high-level medical treatment as a guarantee, can only be a golden jade, and its vain name cannot be recognized by patients in the long run. Only then can the hospital’s continuous development and long-term survival be achieved. Therefore, for the development of TCM career, the leaders of each TCM hospital must make practical plans and measures to ensure that the training of high clinical quality TCM talents is carried out smoothly and can be carried out to the end. 4.2 Formation of TCM hospital groups to complement the advantages and disadvantages of resource sharing While increasing policy support for TCM hospitals, attempts can be made to establish TCM hospital groups to achieve hospital-hospital cooperation, hospital-plant cooperation, resource sharing and lower cost accounting. For example, for the hospital preparation management into the drug specification, the hospital preparation hardware conditions are too high standards, the general hospital is difficult to do, and the realization of the hospital group, the hospital has the ability to prepare to help hospitals without equipment to complete the preparation; or pharmaceutical companies directly and hospitals to reach cooperation, so that the effective experience of the old Chinese medicine prescriptions can be converted into drugs may be realized. In addition, the hospital preparation problem, should break the one-size-fits-all, divided into deep processing and shallow processing, deep processing, such as injections, infusions, etc. should be incorporated into the formal drug management; let’s say the traditional cream, internal and external cream need traditional workshops to process, the southern people like winter tonic cream (party), in Shanghai I have seen the queue to open the cream, the hospital as long as the health conditions are qualified, do not need to comply with GMP certification, which is only the processing process The hospital, as long as the sanitary conditions are qualified, does not need to comply with GMP certification, which is only the processing technology, into food management can be. To do the tight is tight, should be loose is loose, there are relaxed, realistic; try to open the door of convenience. 4.3 Consolidate existing service areas and expand new areas Combining the actual situation of Chinese medicine, under the premise of consolidating and improving existing areas, try to open up some promising, large market, and can fully or maximally play the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine, such as chronic diseases (World Health Organization (WHO) experts estimate that by 2030, the cost of treating chronic diseases will increase at an average annual rate of 17, 7%) The Chinese medicine hospitals should also focus on geriatric diseases, viral diseases, health care product development and diseases that are less effective in Western medicine. As a Chinese medicine hospital, we should increase the construction of specialties, so that “the hospital has a specialty, the department has a special disease, the disease has a special formula”; in addition, we should attach great importance to the celebrity effect of famous veteran Chinese medicine doctors, a famous doctor can revitalize a department or even a hospital; combine the strength of various aspects, focus on breakthroughs, to create a “fist department “, “pillar industry”. In addition, Chinese medicine has the advantages of early intervention and prevention. For example, the theory of treating the untreated disease in Chinese medicine. The Su Wen? The four qi tune Shen Lun” said: “Therefore, the sage does not treat the disease has been treated before the disease, do not treat the chaos has been treated before the chaos. This is also called. The disease has become, and after the medicine of, chaos has become and after the treatment of, like thirst and wear well, bucket and cast cone, is not also late! . The Book of Difficulties? Seventy-seven difficulties” said: “the so-called cure for the untreated disease, see the liver disease, then know that the liver when the transmission of the spleen, so the first real its spleen qi, so that the liver will not be subject to the evil, so it is said to cure the untreated disease.” This idea of “not treating existing diseases and treating the untreated diseases” and “firstly, to secure the place where the evil has not been received” has high preventive medicine and clinical value. 4.4 Strengthen the quality of Chinese medicine tablets and explore the mode of dosage form improvement The relationship and importance of medicine and medicine are self-evident, especially for Chinese medicine. To strengthen the quality of Chinese herbal drinks, we should grasp it from the source, strengthen the construction of quality management standard (GAP) for the production of Chinese herbal medicines, and pay attention to the monitoring and control of pesticide residues and drug quality in drugs. At the same time, strengthen the protection and promotion of the cultivation of authentic herbs; ensure that the drugs can be used with confidence and confidence in clinical practice. From the viewpoint of medical practice, the traditional dosage form and drug delivery route based on Chinese herbal medicine is far from meeting the needs of the times. On the premise of not affecting the efficacy, strengthening the improvement of Chinese medicine dosage forms and realizing multi-channel and multi-target drug delivery methods, such as injection, infusion, capsule, soft capsule, granule and direct drug delivery to vertebral canal and organs, etc., have become major improvement projects for the development of Chinese medicine. 4.5 Chinese medicine hospitals should deal with the scale and content of the construction of the focus as Chinese medicine hospitals to properly deal with the scale and content of the construction of the tilt focus on the issue, is “big and strong” or “small and fine” is worthy of debate and scrutiny. Chinese medicine hospitals should start from their own actual situation, find the right way, clear direction, do not just emphasize the scale, not to compare with the same level of Western hospitals, because Chinese medicine hospitals are different from Western hospitals, after its scale reaches a certain level, compared with the same period of Western hospitals, the added value is not proportional to the scale and input or the ratio is quite small, and the consumption cost accounting will be greatly increased; in the content of the construction and can not match the scale of construction When coordinated, the stall will become a burden when it is big. 4.6 Consolidate and expand the seat of Chinese medicine in community medical activities, give full play to the characteristics of Chinese medicine and the advantages of “simple, inexpensive, convenient and effective”, consolidate the existing market and further develop the community and rural market; better play the position and role of Chinese medicine in the community medical service system, which is a market with broad prospects. Opening up. As far as the current situation in China is concerned, in the community medical system and rural medical system, due to the lack of Chinese medicine talents and high accounting costs, the service rate and utilization rate of Chinese medicine are low, and there is a lot of room for operation. Chinese medicine hospitals, with their own talent advantages, as long as they find the right orientation, set the right location, reasonable standards, and reduce the cost of accounting, they will be able to revitalize the community and rural Chinese medicine medical market; while winning economic benefits, they can also further expand the social benefits and contribution of Chinese medicine, to achieve a win-win situation. 5, actively explore the mode of Chinese medicine talent echelon construction Vice Premier Wu Yi attaches great importance to the succession and development of Chinese medicine, and put forward the spirit of “famous hospital, famous department, famous doctor, famous factory, famous store, famous medicine” six instructions, which greatly encouraged the morale of the personnel engaged in Chinese medicine and uplifted people. It has injected vigor and vitality into the revitalization of Chinese medicine. Among the “six names” instructions, “famous doctors” is the core. Only by cultivating more famous doctors can we create a famous hospital. Faced with the current situation of TCM, there is a shortage of TCM talents and westernization. How to cultivate famous doctors and create famous hospitals, Zhang believes that the core task is to accelerate the training of Chinese medicine theory and clinical quality of Chinese medicine, which is also a difficult and urgent task. The following are only a few personal views on how to train and improve the clinical quality of Chinese medicine. 5.1 It is significant to select a good billet to cultivate a newborn team Talent construction is the core of the internal construction of the hospital. The training of Chinese medical personnel has its own characteristics, in addition to academic education in colleges and universities there are still teachers with apprenticeship system, both have their own advantages and shortcomings. The academy school is poor in hands-on ability, and the teacher-apprentice school is weak in theoretical foundation. Pay attention to the inheritance of academic experience of old TCM experts, train their successors, strengthen and consolidate the professional thinking of TCM medical personnel, and avoid westernization or assimilation by western medicine. Targeted selection of a part of the love of Chinese medicine, sitting, learning, good foundation of young Chinese medicine or senior Western medicine as a key training target, combined with teacher training and academic education. But must respect the principle of two-way choice, not to pull the match; do not take the form, to ensure quality, rather than indiscriminate. The theory of Chinese medicine is difficult and profound, and it is impossible to learn it overnight. Without a sincere love for the cause of Chinese medicine, without the spirit of hard work and endurance can not succeed. Especially now, the environment and the interests of some Chinese medicine staff can not be quiet to learn. Only if you love Chinese medicine, know the difficulties and persevere, you will be able to reach the other side of success. In order to have academic attainments in Chinese medicine, some achievements, and become a famous doctor of both virtue and art, we must quietly, lonely, resistant to poverty, overcome impatience, seriously learn the essence of Chinese medicine, seriously do a good job in clinical work, seriously do a good job in Chinese medicine research, for the cause of Chinese medicine again and strive for glory. 5.2 Lay a good foundation, solid basic skills First of all, I would like to mention the love of Chinese medicine to the front of the topic, in order to learn Chinese medicine first of all, you have to love Chinese medicine, to love Chinese medicine from the bones. Because, only if you love Chinese medicine, you can do everything possible to study him, this is the prerequisite. In the love of Chinese medicine, like the prerequisites of Chinese medicine, seriously lay a good foundation, practice good basic skills is particularly important. The basic theories of TCM, prescriptions, and Chinese medicine should be mastered, so that they can be better connected with the relevant clinical disciplines and the next step of deeper learning can be carried out. In addition, it can also avoid the disadvantage of insufficient backbone for in-depth study in the future. The theory of Chinese medicine is vast and profound, and the ancient writings of the past generations are infinite, so you need to persistently figure out and explore for a long time. During this period, there are many internal and external factors to interfere with you, you must be able to resist the temptation and difficulties. Otherwise, it is inevitable that you will lose your work halfway. 5.3 Practice internal strength, focusing on the identification and treatment of Chinese medicine is the core of clinical, the core of clinical is the identification and treatment. From the methodological point of view, evidence-based treatment has “systemic thinking, programmatic approach”, “individual specificity and randomness of symptoms”, “diversification of evidence-based rationale”, “emphasis on the creativity of the medical practitioner”, and “the importance of the medical practitioner”. It is characterized by “systemic thinking, programmatic approach”, “individual specificity and randomness of symptoms”, “diversification of the method of discernment” and “emphasis on the creativity of medical practitioners”. Discriminatory treatment integrates the identification of symptoms and treatment into one system, identifying the symptoms, understanding the causes, and considering the severity, aiming at establishing and selecting the treatment method and implementing it in the prescription. With the rapid development of modern science, TCM also needs to adapt to the scientific knowledge of the times and develop itself. For example, we need to use modern knowledge of imaging to enrich our internal organs diagnosis. When treating pulmonary diseases, Master Zhang often uses X-rays to expand the visual field of diagnosis and to more clearly understand the nature of the lung lesions. Due to the differences in patients’ constitution, different people show different and specific symptoms; in addition, the use of some symptomatic drugs makes some of the symptoms and signs that should appear during the course of the disease less obvious or even disappear. These, to a certain extent, set obstacles to clinical diagnosis and treatment; with the help of imaging indicators, it is more conducive to correct diagnosis and thus helps to identify and treat the symptoms and improve clinical efficacy. 5.4 Follow the teacher’s clinical evidence, teach to solve the confusion “to learn from the teacher is the path to practice medicine” is the ancient people’s incisive overview of the importance of teacher training. The guidance of famous teachers can shorten the process of practice comprehension and exploration to solve the confusion. Since 1990, China has been implementing the nationwide “teaching work of inheritance of academic experience of old Chinese medicine experts”, which has achieved fruitful results and a large number of senior Chinese medicine talents have emerged. In the third batch of old Chinese medicine doctrine experience inheritance teaching work press briefing, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine She Jing, director of the pointed out that “the practice of the first and second batch of inheritance teaching work proved that the old Chinese medicine experts academic experience inheritance work, is an important aspect of the inheritance of the development of Chinese medicine can not be ignored, but also to train high-level Chinese medicine clinical and traditional Chinese medicine technical personnel an It is also an important way to cultivate high-level clinical and technical talents in Chinese medicine. Zhang believes that by organizing various levels of teacher-apprenticeship and making full use of the rich experience of old experts, “passing on, helping, teaching and leading” is the most urgent task for the cultivation of high clinical quality talents, and it is better to do it quickly than slowly. On June 28, 2005, “the first high-level forum of academic inheritance of famous Chinese medicine scholars” was held in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, where famous old Chinese medicine practitioners who are still alive today, such as Deng Tietao, Zhu Liangchun, Ren Jixue, Zhou Zhongying, etc., are actively campaigning for the development of Chinese medicine despite their old age; She Jing, Vice Minister of Health and Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, personally attended the meeting and made an important speech. She Jing, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, personally attended the conference and made an important speech, pointing out that in the future, the state should increase the work of inheriting and researching the academic experience of old Chinese medicine experts, and pay more attention to the importance of teaching in Chinese medicine. Zhang and I were honored to be invited by the General Assembly to participate in the conference, which was inspiring and encouraging for the three generations of Chinese medicine practitioners. The fire of TCM has been passed on from generation to generation. 5.5 Familiarity with the classics, inheritance to innovation The ancients said: “Those who analyze the evidence, check the pulse, legislate and prescribe. If you are not well versed in the medical scriptures, how can you draw up a prescription? The medical scriptures and classics are the crystallization of the struggle between doctors and diseases for many generations. Only by reading and memorizing them, diligently seeking the ancient teachings, and collecting all the prescriptions, and grasping the source of Chinese medicine, which contains inexhaustible treasures, can we really master the essence of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, also pay attention to the study of the doctrines of various schools. The academic of each school enriches the basic content of Chinese medicine, and also records the development and improvement of Chinese medicine, through the study of the writings of the generations of doctors, to enrich learning, can be enlightened and can stimulate the spark of innovation. In the course of clinical teaching, Dr. Zhang has learned that he can pass on his experience in the process of consultation, and he can also introduce his experience in a planned manner after consultation; students can also ask questions at any time, so that teaching and learning can grow together. 5.6 Studying ancient texts, learning from the past to learn from the present After thousands of years of development, Chinese medicine has been explored and researched by countless generations of doctors, making Chinese medicine evolve, improve and develop, while leaving behind many valuable and unique academic ideas and clinical experience of doctors, which are mostly preserved in the ancient texts of Chinese medicine in various periods. Through continuous study and in-depth study of ancient Chinese medical texts, we can grasp the general lineage of the academic development of Chinese medicine, and draw from them the academic ideas and clinical essence of the medical practitioners of all generations, so that we can truly inherit the lineage of Chinese medicine. On the basis of inheritance, we can also use the past to learn from the present, and make a breakthrough. 5.7 Pay wide homage to famous teachers, and learn from all the old Chinese medicine experts after years of tireless exploration and research, accumulated a wealth of unique clinical experience and academic ideas, they “have a masterpiece”, inheritance and carry forward the academic experience of old Chinese medicine experts to guide clinical practice and enrich the doctrine of Chinese medicine is very beneficial and significant. Through the wide worship of teachers can grow insight, broaden the horizons, in order to collect the strengths of all schools for my use; at the same time, through the words of the old Chinese medicine experts, combined with their learning experience, can avoid us in the learning process less detours, or even do not take a detour. Of course, the form of worship and learning is not limited to one, there are pro-scorching, there are private Shu, each person should choose according to their own actual situation.
