Two possibilities are presumed to exist for a patient presenting with symptoms of blood in the urine after exercise. One part of the patient may be due to performing intense rowing exercises. Maintaining a seated position for intense lumbar exercise may cause the tiny blood vessels in the kidneys to rupture, inducing symptoms of blood in urine.
Other patients have blood in their urine as a result of exercising too intensely and need to stop exercising temporarily.
