Dermatologic Surgery Precautions

  Pre-operative attention 1.Patients should tell the doctor their past medical history truthfully, especially if the following diseases: serious mental abnormalities, psychological disorders, personality disorders, important organ insufficiency, serious blood diseases, systemic or surgical site infections, serious hypertension, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, liver and kidney diseases, use of anticoagulant drugs, high doses of hormones and other drugs are generally not suitable for surgery.  2.Patients who are under 18 years old or with limited capacity or incapacity should be accompanied by their guardians for medical consultation and signature.  3. Patients should strictly follow medical advice. If there is any abnormality, they should seek medical consultation as soon as possible for timely treatment.  4.Patients should receive the necessary pre-operative examination according to their condition.  5. Surgery for women (especially breast, lower abdomen, pelvis, perineum, etc.) should be avoided during menstruation as much as possible.  Postoperative attention 1. Remove the wound dressing one day after surgery.  2.Please follow the doctor’s instructions for medication change and medication after surgery.  3.The date of stitch removal after surgery: ____ on ________.  4.Please do not touch the wound with water or pollutants for two days after the surgery until the stitches are removed.  5.The excised tissues are sent for pathological examination, which can be obtained at the service desk on the first floor of Building 10 after one week.  6.Avoid eating spicy, smoking, alcohol and other foods after surgery to avoid wound congestion.  7.If you have any discomfort, please consult the doctor in time.
