What are the signs of diabetic nephropathy

Diabetic nephropathy is mainly characterized by different degrees of proteinuria and progressive decompensation of renal function. There is individual variability in the clinical manifestations of diabetic nephropathy patients, and different patients may have different manifestations. Diabetic nephropathy can be categorized into 5 stages. Stage Ⅰ clinical no nephropathy manifestations, only hemodynamic changes; Ⅱ persistent microalbuminuria, clinical asymptomatic; Ⅲ albuminuria increased significantly, there may be mild hypertension; Ⅳ a large number of proteinuria, up to the degree of nephrotic syndrome; Ⅴ period of renal function continues to decline until end-stage renal disease.
