Diagnostic criteria for bacillary-negative tuberculosis

  The diagnostic criteria for bacillus-negative tuberculosis are: ① typical clinical symptoms of tuberculosis and chest X-ray and CT manifestations; ② effective anti-tuberculosis treatment; ③ clinical exclusion of other non-tuberculous pulmonary diseases; ④ strong positive PPD test and positive serum anti-tuberculosis antibody; ⑤ positive PCR and probe test for sputum tuberculosis; ⑥ extra-pulmonary histopathology (7) Mycobacterium acidophilus detected in bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid; (8) Histopathology of bronchus or lung confirmed TB lesion.  The diagnosis can be confirmed if three of ① to ⑥ or any one of ⑦ to ⑧ are present.
