If the patient is suffering from low back pain with painful numbness in the lower extremities and wishes to be treated systematically, they can be seen in the orthopaedic department (spinal surgery).
If the patient presents with spinal trauma with spinal cord injury, accompanied by pain and sensory changes, they may visit the orthopaedic department (spinal surgery).
If the patient has suffered a severe head trauma, or is unconscious or has difficulty breathing, he or she must be seen promptly in the emergency department.
If the patient has symptoms such as numbness and paralysis on one side of the body and unfavourable speech, they may go to the neurology department.
