Heartburn

If a patient experiences panic attacks or heart surges, he or she may be experiencing tachycardia or premature beats. If you want to clarify whether there is currently myocardial ischemia, or arrhythmia, it is recommended that the patient have an electrocardiogram when the discomfort flares up. If this condition is episodic, it is difficult to detect such abnormalities by going for a general ECG. Patients are advised to have an ambulatory ECG to help assess the patient’s overall 24-hour average heart rate, as well as the arrhythmia. For simple sinus tachycardia, patients can take oral bisoprolol or betalactam to suppress sympathetic excitability and improve the patient’s symptoms of panic and palpitations. If necessary, the cause of the panic and palpitations should also be identified. Patients are advised to check serum ion, thyroid function, and blood routine to help further clarify the diagnosis.
