Pain is not scary, anesthesiologists help

As a doctor who has been studying medicine for more than ten years, I feel more and more the magic of anesthesia. Many doctors are afraid to see patients, not because of the disease itself, but because of the fear of pain. It can be said that there are almost no people who are not afraid of pain. So, can it not hurt? The answer is yes. One can say that from the time a person enters the hospital, to the time they leave the hospital. No matter what disease you have, we anesthesiologists can make it completely painless. This is not bragging. For example, does it hurt to give birth? Of course it hurts. It’s the kind of pain that rips your heart out. Many people choose to have a C-section because they’re afraid of the pain. With a C-section we anesthetize and generally speaking, it doesn’t hurt at all. So, does natural childbirth have to be painful? Not necessarily! Natural labor can also be painless. As long as we give you an analgesic pump, all problems are solved in a minute. Isn’t that amazing? We can do it! It even says that injections hurt. Is there a way to fix that? Sure, we use some local anesthetic cream before you get the shot. It won’t hurt naturally when you get the shot. Anesthesia has such amazing effects, why don’t people know about it? I think it’s the publicity. Plus some doctors and patients are biased. Fear of anesthesia drug side effects. In fact, this fear is superfluous. It can be said that trusting the anesthesiologist, your pain will never return!
