Is it a new coronavirus infection if you have slight breathlessness and nasal congestion after being exposed to a person with a cough a year ago?

People who were exposed to coughing years ago presented with only mild dyspnea and nasal congestion. And patients with no further exacerbation of symptoms and no respiratory distress generally do not present with novel coronavirus infection. Pneumonia with novel coronavirus infection is typically characterized by fever, dry cough, and malaise, while dyspnea and nasal congestion can be caused by a variety of respiratory diseases and may not be due to novel coronavirus infection. Moreover, the incubation period of novel coronavirus infection generally does not exceed 14 days, and the current date is more than 20 days from the year before, which basically excludes the possibility of infection. If symptoms persist or worsen or if the individual continues to experience other physical discomfort, medical attention should be considered to resolve the problem.
