The patient was an elderly female, 71 years old, with a left breast lump found for more than ten years and a local skin breakdown for more than six months. Since the patient and her family firmly refused surgical resection treatment, she came to our hospital for cryoablation surgery with argon helium knife.

The patient was discharged 10 days after surgery: the local tumor became black and necrotic.
More than 3 months after the Ar-He knife surgery, the patient’s left breast tumor freezing necrotic tissues fell off and the surrounding normal tissues remained.
After timely dressing change and clearing of necrotic tissue, complete healing was achieved at the follow-up visit on August 28, 2009, more than 4 months after surgery.
The patient is currently living a very healthy life at the follow-up in February 2012
