The average annual number of tumor cases in China is about 1.8 to 2 million, and about 25-30% of patients have different degrees of pain, and the number of patients with advanced tumors is even as high as 70% to 80%, among which 30% of patients have severe pain without effective relief before death. Although pain management is not a treatment for tumor, it can help control the development of tumor, improve the quality of life and prolong life expectancy. It is because pain often causes patients to be in pain, which seriously affects sleep, diet and mood, and lose confidence in treatment, which directly leads to the decrease of body resistance and poor quality of life, which in turn aggravates the development of cancer, forming a vicious circle. Therefore, tumor patients must actively control their pain while fighting against tumors. Only when the pain is well controlled and the vicious cycle is interrupted, can they build up good physical conditions to receive anti-tumor treatment and improve the quality of life.
