Systolic and diastolic blood pressure ranges for hypertension

According to the latest Chinese guidelines, blood pressure is divided into normotension, normal high value and hypertension, and hypertension is divided into grade 1 hypertension, grade 2 hypertension and grade 3 hypertension. Normal blood pressure refers to systolic blood pressure <120mmHg and diastolic blood pressure <80mmHg, while normal high value refers to systolic blood pressure 120-139mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 80-89mmHg. If systolic blood pressure >140mmHg and diastolic blood pressure >90mmHg is hypertension. So the normal range of systolic blood pressure is strictly speaking 120mmHg, and the normal range of diastolic blood pressure is at 80mmHg.
