How long the new coronavirus survives in the outside world

The survival time of novel coronaviruses outside the body depends on the temperature and humidity and is usually less than two minutes. Novel coronaviruses are very sensitive to sunlight, ultraviolet light and air quality and do not survive for very long in the external environment. Moreover, the higher the temperature, the more difficult it is for the virus to survive. The virus can be inactivated in 30 minutes in water at 56 degrees Celsius, and it can lose its infectivity relatively quickly at room temperatures of about 25 degrees Celsius. The lower the temperature, the longer the virus will survive outside the body, and the virus is more likely to survive in humid air.
