Complications of Hemorrhoidal Circumcision

Infection: If you don’t change the medicine on time after hemorrhoidectomy or for other reasons, such as eating spicy and irritating food, dry stools, etc., it may cause secondary infection of the anastomosis, resulting in swelling, pain, anal cramps, and in severe cases, it may cause systemic complications such as fever, chills, and fatigue. 2. Defecation disorder: due to surgical stimulation may affect the normal rectal-anal defecation causing diarrhea, constipation and other defecation disorders. 3. Rectovaginal fistula: If the circumcision operation is not properly operated and too much tissue is removed, complications such as rectovaginal fistula may be formed. 4. Bleeding: after hemorrhoidal circumcision, if the anastomotic titanium nail is not anastomosed, resulting in bleeding of the blood vessels of the mucosal tissue at the circumcision, which is the most feared complication of circumcision, the postoperative need to be carefully observed, there is no blood seeping out of the anus, and at the same time, to observe the changes in blood pressure and so on. 5. Anastomotic stenosis: after hemorrhoidal circumcision, if there is persistent difficulty in defecation, stool thinning, rectal palpation, touching the anastomotic scar contracture, anal tightness, considering anastomotic stenosis, it is recommended to give anal dilatation treatment, and regular follow-up.
