Angulation of the fracture end refers to the angular deformity of the angle formed by the extension of the axis of the two fracture ends after the fracture. If the angular deformity is consistent with the direction of joint movement and the degree does not exceed 10°, it can be corrected by itself in the future fracture healing and will not affect the function of the limb. If the angular deformity does not coincide with the direction of joint movement, especially lateral displacement and angular displacement perpendicular to the direction of joint movement, it cannot be corrected during the healing process of the fracture, and later the force line of the limb will be unbalanced, which can lead to traumatic arthritis. Therefore, this angular deformity must be corrected to avoid affecting the function of the patient’s limb in the future.
